UPDATE ON ATS MOVE
As you have heard, ATS is planning on moving our corporate office to a new facility. To keep the employees of ATS up to date on what is happening we will continue this column, until the move is complete.

Move Date: TBD still in planning stages
DESTINATION: Final location TBD
ETA: Will be based on move date
COMMODITY: ATS Corporate Offices
STATUS: The Building Task Force is continuing work with our architect and project manager on the general building design, permits, wetland mitigation and other initial details of the project. The announced building site continues to be our preferred location, but no ground will be broken until the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has completed the land purchase. We will keep you posted as this develops.

COOPER AVENUE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS
The re-design of Cooper Avenue North, which prompted plans to re-locate the ATS corporate offices has begun. The power lines on the east side of the street have been moved to allow room for the planned four-lane expansion. The remainder of the construction, which includes removal of the railroad overpass spanning Division Street, is expected to begin within the next month. Upon completion of the project, Cooper Avenue North and Cooper Avenue South will be a thru street.

Plans to facilitate parking, building access and staff and visitor safety at the current ATS facility are underway, and will be communicated prior to the beginning of construction. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this construction may cause.

SUNBELT/ICE MOVE INTO INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE ARENA
ICE International, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Hopper as Import/Export Sales Manager. A partnering of ICE International and ATS subsidiary, SunBelt Furniture Xpress of Hickory, NC, is allowing the expansion of the international side of our business into the import furniture market. Jan comes to ICE with extensive furniture and traffic experience, most recently serving as Retail Store Manager for Bassett Furniture Direct in High Point, NC. Jan will be headquartered in Hickory, NC, and will be focused on serving the international furniture transportation needs of customers throughout the United States. Welcome aboard Jan!
