ICE Awarded Transportation Contract for Power Plant
ICE has been awarded the transportation contract for Duke Fluor Daniel, and will be performing all the truckload and specialized trailer shipments from all points in the US, Canada and Mexico to the power plant construction site in Guayama, PR.

This is the second major power plant that ICE has been the exclusive carrier on in Puerto Rico. We are proud of both the service demands we have been able to commit and honor, and the exclusive door-to-door service and project management required to obtain the job.

We are also providing a number of logistical solutions for subcontractors for this project, offering both high tech E-tracking and full project reporting tools required for the Project Management team. We have dedicated over 100 trailers to this job alone and maintain the volume needs without impacting our core customers in the Puerto Rico trade lanes.

ICE Has successfully moved both trailer load and project freight to the below destinations since June, 2000, following our Full Caribbean Service Scope: Dominican Republic, Trinidad, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Kingston, Jamaica, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Catagena, Columbia, Cayman Islands, Nassau, Bahamas, Balboa, Panama

ATS Logistics /Sureway Transportation has hired Tim Barrett as their Director of Agent Development. Tim comes from DAT Services out of Portland, OR, where he was the Manager of National Accounts. Tim worked for DAT four years. While at DAT Tim worked with many of the nation's largest trucking and brokerage companies. Tim will be in charge of developing the Sureway Agent Program. He brings an exciting background in cutting edge transportation technology and many key relationships within the transportation industry.
