 ATS Logistics Services... Supporting our Customers and Continuing to grow!
Most of you know the name Sureway Transportation. It was founded in 1989 as a support division and off shoot of ATS Specialized. Sureway still exists today as the agent program of ATS Logistics Services, Inc.
ATS Logistics is headquartered in Saint Cloud, MN. It has grown at a remarkable pace over the past decade. It has revenue sources from various customers including ATS Specialized, ATS Inc, ICE International, it's own internal customers, and also from various agents throughout the United States. Revenues in 2002 should be well in excess of $40,000,000!
ATS/Sureway has always existed for several good reasons... the most important is service. ATS Specialized and ATS Inc., have always had the luxury of being able to "overbook" freight for their Owner Operators and Company Trucks. This allows the asset side to retain the load. We want our customers to call us and us only. We want to prove to them that we are service driven and we will do whatever we can to make sure their freight is delivered safely and on time.
Another distinctive advantage is that during slower business cycles, ATS Logistics is able to feed freight back to the asset divisions. All the freight that was distributed to outside carrier partners and our own freight, is now still available, therefore we can get it back to our own drivers. Again, this is all part of our strategy of "overbooking".
ATS Logistics takes pride in having the best third party technology in the industry. This allows us to better match our loads with our carrier partners and to meet our customers needs.
