In honor of the Armed Forces and its proud tradition, Anderson Trucking Service would like to say thank you and salute our employees and their family members who proudly served our country and those who continue to serve.
ARMY
Air Corps – Captain Harold Anderson - B-24 Bomber Pilot and Squadron Commander 1942-1945. Flew 29 missions over Germany, 15 as the lead pilot and 14 as the wingman. Captain Anderson was awarded the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Harold Anderson was the founder and President of Anderson Trucking Service, Inc.
Brigadier General Bill Bester - He will be serving as the Assistant Surgeon General for Force Projection as well as serving as the 21st Chief, Army Nurse Corps. His son, Bill “Dewey” Bester, works in ICE.
Brigadier General Gary DiLallo - 1970 - Present. CEO 77th Regional Support Command, Fort Totten NY, Gen DiLallo is also an ordained Deacon for the Roman Catholic Church. Garys sister Kim works in Recruiting.
Colonel Violette Ruff - Serving in the National Guard 23 years. Her son Mark works in Flatbed Customer Service.
E5 Joshua Holbrook - Communications, Travis AFB. His father, Larry Holbrook is a driver for ATS Specialized #14720

Specialist 5 Jim Anderson - National Guard from 1969-1975 served in the Fire Direction Mortars. Father Harold founded ATS.
PFC Floyd Gaarsland - Served 1968 -1970. Stationed 1 yr Berlin Germany and 1-year Arizona. His brother, Denny Gaarsland, works in the Heavy Haul Division
PFC Ray Gaarsland - Served 1956-1958. Stationed 2 years in Hawaii. His brother, Denny Gaarsland, works in the Heavy Haul Division
Specialist 4 Tim Mueller - Served as an MP, Stationed at USECOM, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart Germany.
Colonel John F Ebert - He retired summer of 2001 with 8 years active duty and 22 years of National Guard service. He served 1 tour in Vietnam as a company commander and convoy commander. He received the Bronze Star for taking fire in an ambush and having no casualties. His son, JT Ebert, works in ATS Specialized.
E-5 J.T. Ebert - Combat Engineer 682nd Eng. 1994 – Present. JT served in Panama and Honduras for training. He will be activated for 9 months to serve in Bosnia for a peace-keeping mission in 2003. JT works in ATS Specialized.
