ATS WINS SAFETY AWARD FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR
Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is a recipient of Great West Risk Management’s PLATINUM AWARD FOR SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE for the second consecutive year. The award, which is based on various criteria, including loss results, prompt and fair claims settlement practices, timely reporting of claims, innovative loss prevention programs and demonstrated operational excellence, for Great West client carriers with one-thousand trucks or more, was presented to ATS on April 7, 2004, at our corporate offices in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Ron Lawson, President of Great West Risk Management, Inc. and Pete Merrion, Underwriting Manager presented the award to ATS representatives, Scott Anderson, Director of Safety and Craig Campbell, Director of Claims and Risk Management (Pictured Above). Presenting the award, Mr. Lawson stated, “Great West Risk Management is pleased to award Anderson Trucking Service our 2003 Platinum Award For Safety And Operational Excellence. This award is presented to Great West Casualty Company clients who met objective criteria related to safety and claims for 2003. Anderson Trucking Service represents the qualities that make Great West Casualty proud to be their insurer.”

Great West Casualty Company, which was formed in 1956, is America’s largest insurer of trucking companies, with revenues in 2003 in excess of $600 million. Its parent company, Old Republic International Corporation of Chicago, Illinois, had revenues in excess of $3.4 billion in 2003. Great West is dedicated to serving the special needs of the transportation industry offering products which include auto liability, cargo, physical damage, general liability, umbrella and workers compensation insurance.
