Anderson Trucking and its subsidiaries are looking for new photos to be used on our website and in other corporate advertising and collateral materials. The all new ATS hat and cash prizes will be awarded as follows... First Place:     $50.00 Second Place: $40.00 Third Place:    $30.00 Fourth Place:  $20.00 ATS is interested in photos featuring the ATS truck and/or load. Creativity is encouraged. All photos submitted will be considered. Photos may include standard truck shots, action photos, pictures involving trucks on the road, at a weigh station, or truck stop etc. Rules This contest is open to all employees and drivers (Company and Leased). Send your color prints with your name and truck number clearly printed on the back, to the address below. Digital photos can be submitted provided they are high resolution. These files should be sent via email. All submitted photos become the property of ATS and will not be returned. ATS reserves the right to use the photos electronically or in printed publication. The Internet committee will judge the photos and their decision shall be final. All photos received will be considered in the month they are received.(7th) The date for submission will be the last day of every month for the duration of the contest. ATS reserves the right to discontinue or modify the contest at any time. On The Road Again...
ATS unit 14768 has been reunited with its driver, Pete Smith, and they are “on the road again”.

Pete and tractor 14768 were only a few blocks away from the World Trade Center at the time of the attack on September 11. Pete was forced to flee for his safety, and ended up across the Hudson River in Jersey City. Although Pete got into another tractor after a few days, unit 14768 with Pete’s belongings inside remained stranded at the construction site where Pete had delivered granite only a few minutes before the first explosion.

The clean up crews contacted ATS on October 2, to ask us to move the tractor from the site. Covered with thick dust, but no worse for the wear, 14678 was towed to a near-by Freightliner dealership. Another ATS driver picked it up and drove back to St. Cloud. Inspection at ATS West revealed no physical damage to the truck. Maintenance staff removed dust from the engine compartment by the handfuls. Some even brought zip-shut plastic bags to keep some of the dust as a memento of the tragic event. Pete and his tractor were reunited on October 12, in St. Cloud.
