St. Cloud, MN headquarters. The Corporate Controller will support the vision of ATS – to be the most sought after transportation provider in the world – by providing sound fiscal leadership and directing the operation of the accounting department.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Guides company financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Preparing and presenting financial statements to relevant stake holders
- Financial reserve management
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting internal audits and communicating with external auditors
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations across all business units
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Employee development within the Accounting department by coaching, counseling, and mentoring staff.
Education/Experience
Four year degree in accounting, finance or related field.
5+ years experience in finance/accounting

Demonstrated experience in the safe, efficient and timely loading/unloading of freight on flatbed trailers necessary. Must have Class A CDL, 1 year of verifiable flatbed experience, forklift certification, and a good MVR. M-F with an occasional Saturday.

ATS is seeking a yard worker at our Laredo, TX yard. Responsibilities include transferring of loads from ATS trailers to broker trailers and assisting with the securement and tarping of loads in accordance with all DOT, OSHA, and company guidelines to ensure a timely, safe, and efficient delivery. Position is also responsible for trailers to be in good working condition by inspecting them on a daily basis to ensure they meet OSHA, DOT, and company guidelines. Must have a valid drivers license and current forklift certification.

The Regional Account Representative is responsible for strengthening and enhancing the growth and stability of ATS Logistics Services, Inc. (ATSLSI) by implementing sound marketing and customer service principles to develop and service customers in accordance with company and department quality, sales, utilization, and profit objectives and serving as a liaison between the customer and ATSLSI operations.
Education & Experience
Strong working knowledge of transportation brokerage principles usually gained by two years experience in transportation sales.
A college degree is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with a focus on growing the customer base as well as providing industry leading customer service to existing customers. The candidate must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and have solid negotiation skills. A motivated self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit are a must.
