ATS Pad Wrap / Blanket Wrap operates as a division of ATS Van Solutions, and specializes in the critical handling of non-cartoned, non-crated shipments. ATS has been trucking for over 50 years. We have the well established systems (and passion) to assure that your shipment arrives when and where it's expected—safely and on schedule. Our Pad Wrap drivers have the knowledge that makes all the difference: how to pad and strap so loads don't shift, how to deck trailers for maximum density.
Say the word and we'll drop empty trailers on site for loading. (No more expense of a waiting driver!) If you require loading or unloading assistance, we'll arrange for experienced movers. ATS can pick up loads 24 hours a day. 24/7 customer service means that our planners have the ability to react to issues before they become problems and develop solutions that keep your shipment on track.
We utilize the latest technology to manage your project from order entry to shipment arrival. Because we own our software, we can tailor operating programs to meet your exact needs. We track our trucks by the hour and can communicate information however you like—phone, fax, e-mails or by 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, password-protected web access.
Satellite tracking in every truck means we can track your shipment, alter routes and deliver important messages to the driver. Our experienced truckers are driving, but ATS technology assures that you're in control.
ATS Van Solutions Pad Wrap is an "asset based" carrier. This means we own the trailers and the trucks, in the quantities that usually meets our customer’s requirements. Currently we operate more than 120 units which are dedicated to Pad wrap customers. Our trucks are, on average, 14-18 months old. Our trailer fleet is less than a two year old. New trucks mean fewer breakdowns and safer travel.
In the event that our customers needs exceed our assets, our logistics division ATS Logistics Services, Inc. has additional "approved contracted carriers" which gives us access to additional experienced, Pad Wrap Van drivers and equipment.
We combine knowledge of your business with expertise in ours to save you time, money and resources. Everyone at ATS from your account manager, to the fleet manager, to the customer service reps are trained to comprehend the transportation challenges your particular industry faces. But you work one-on-one with a single source contact (your account manager), even if you have multiple shipping locations. We believe in relationships, communication and full accountability.
