Anderson Trucking Service Welcomes Tracy Koenig as Chief Information Officer

ST. CLOUD, Minn., September 1, 2026 — Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) recently welcomed Tracy Koenig as chief information officer (CIO) as part of a planned leadership transition ahead of the December retirement of current CIO Julius Chepey.

During his five years with the company, Chepey has played an important role in strengthening ATS' systems and digital capabilities. Koenig will build on that foundation as he leads the next phase of ATS' technology and cybersecurity strategy.

In his role, Koenig will focus on identifying technology initiatives that support customer and driver success and ATS’ long-term growth. He will leverage emerging technologies to help ATS better support the people who rely on its tools and systems every day.

“Tracy's ability to connect technology strategy to business strategy is what makes him such a strong fit for ATS. He understands that technology is not simply about systems and infrastructure — it's about enabling people, improving decision-making, supporting customers, and creating competitive advantage. His collaborative leadership style, strategic mindset, and passion for developing people align well with our culture and long-term vision at ATS.” brent anderson · CEO, Anderson Trucking Service

While new to the transportation industry, Koenig brings decades of leadership and technology experience, having served as both CIO and CEO in previous roles. His experience will help ATS identify practical technology improvements and strengthen cybersecurity practices across the organization.

"Technology is evolving faster than ever," said ATS CIO Tracy Koenig. "It's important that we invest in technology solutions that support our customers, drivers, and employees, while helping ATS continue to grow as an industry leader."
