Earlier this year, ATS FreightMatch was released, giving you access to the freight booked by ATS Logistics and Sureway Transportation directly on your phone.
In August, an enhancement was made to our ecosystem with the introduction of two distinct permission sets: "Administrator" and "Driver." This update was to streamline your interactions based on your specific role in the freight booking and management process within your company.
To continue enhancing your experience with ATS FreightMatch and make this app a seamless extension of your business, more updates are coming very soon!
In late December, an updated version of ATS FreightMatch will be available on the iOS and Google Play app stores, you will be prompted to update your application at that time.
While this update won’t disrupt how you currently use the app, some exciting things are coming to ATS FreightMatch. . .
What’s New?!
The feedback users, like you, have shared through conversations with our support teams and surveys, help shape our development roadmap.
Based on these insights, we’re implementing three major additions in December:
- Document scanning
- Rate negotiation
- Search updates
Here’s what these changes will look like:
Document Scanning
With this update, you’ll have the ability to upload and submit documentation directly within ATS FreightMatch. This was previously done via email.
Now, you’ll be able to share all of your BOLs, PODs, invoices, receipts and other documents under each load on your “Dashboard” or under the “My Loads” tab. You’ll also be reminded which documents you need to upload to complete each load.
Use this to become more efficient and get paid quicker for your deliveries!
Rate Negotiation
Rate negotiation will be available beginning in December. With this update, you’ll have the option to either haul a load at its listed rate or to submit an offer for it by selecting “Make an Offer” instead of “Book Now.”
Unlike other apps, this doesn’t function like an auction (where you would have to bid against other companies). Instead, once you submit your offer, it will either be immediately accepted or you will be presented with a counteroffer. This is a one-time counteroffer and you won’t be able to negotiate further.
Search Updates
Based on user feedback, ATS FreightMatch will also be getting some updates to its search functionality. This will make it easier for you to get more customized results when searching for loads. Among other things, with this update, you’ll be able to multi-select trailers.
