Organizational Changes Aim to Improve Driver, Customer Experience in Changing Market

Much like the changing leaves in our part of the country, we’re excited to announce some organizational changes here at ATS. They’re part of our continued commitment to making your experience better each and every time you work with us.

With innovation being one of our core cultural values, it’s important for us to not only find new ways to navigate the challenges presented by the freight market today, but also remain a step ahead to position you for success tomorrow. Instead of sitting back and waiting for things to get back to “normal,” we’re working hard to find creative ways to get your freight covered faster.

To that end, we are excited to announce a couple of changes to the ATS organization that have been made to help support this goal.

Julius-Chepey-CIO-1First, we’ve added Julius Chepey as our new chief information officer (CIO). Julius joins us with decades of experience in various professional technology roles. He’ll focus his time and energy on finding technology solutions that help maximize the number of trucks available to you and create new tools for customers and drivers, all while driving costs down for you and for ATS alike.

In order to make that technology successful, it’s vital to have it work seamlessly in the operations process. In support of that goal, we’re also excited to announce that Mike Lakmann — formerly our vice president of operations with ATS Specialized —  has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO).

Mike-LakmannMike will engage his passion and experience to help us most effectively utilize these new technologies. He’ll also maintain our ongoing focus on people by bringing the best out of our physical equipment assets and deeply talented team. Providing the best possible experience for our drivers and our customers remains a central focus across the entire organization.

We are confident these two leadership additions will help us achieve that mission. In a continually tight market for truckload capacity, we hope you begin to recognize the impact of these improvements right away.

As market demands and supply chain impacts continue to evolve, please know that ATS stands ready to support your changing needs now and into the future. From the skilled drivers delivering to your loading dock each day to the talented teams working behind the scenes to ensure your business is able to grow at the pace you need, innovation is always at work at ATS. We’re all laser-focused on one common goal — which also happens to be our company mission — helping you be successful.

Thank you for your business and for trusting ATS with your transportation needs. It is an honor to serve you.

If you’re ready to move your freight now, please get in touch.
