ATS Blog

Much like the changing leaves in our part of the country, we’re excited to announce some organizational changes here at ATS. They’re part of our continued commitment to making your experience better each and every time you work with us.
If you are experiencing a shortage of space to store manufactured inventories of life-saving supplies or shipments unable to deliver, we’re here to help. ATS offers short-term storage options at secure locations across North America.
A message from ATS President, Brent Anderson, asking for your partnership in helping keep America’s supply chain moving during this unprecedented time of uncertainty.

Founded in 1969, PERI is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding. Along with their parent plant and headquarters in Weissenhorn, Germany, PERI has more than 70 subsidiaries and more than 160 logistics centers around the world and employs over 9,500 people. After 50 years in business, they wanted to celebrate their major milestone in style.

Nearly 17 billion barrels of oil have traveled through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) since the first oil moved through more than 40 years ago. A key component of the pipeline recently faltered, reducing productivity, and ATS was handpicked by the operating company to get the fix delivered quickly.

In August of 2017, the City of St. Cloud (MN) and the St. Cloud Police Department officially opened what they call the Community OutPost, or COP House. The outpost was created to help police officers positively engage with members of the community as a way to strengthen relationships. It was inspired by a similar program in Racine, Wisconsin.
The first-of-its-kind house in Minnesota has been a hub of community activities since it opened roughly two years ago, providing programming focused on safety, wellness and more. ATS is proud to have provided financial assistance to kick-start the Community OutPost. The hard work paid off too.
Many Veterans return from combat with mental and physical injuries, leading to years of treatment and hospitalization. For some of those Veterans, that means traveling thousands of miles to find a place that fits their treatment needs. Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) is an organization whose mission is to get those Veterans to where they need to be without having to worry about airfare and the cost associated with it.
Each year, ATS donates a flight to VAC to help them serve their mission. ATS recently helped get a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant from his home in Oregon to Milwaukee. The Sergeant injured his ankle after falling in a hole during a night foot patrol mission. That injury caused his ankle to become weak, causing severe pain throughout the remainder of his deployment.

As a Veteran-owned company, ATS knows the sacrifices made that give us the freedoms we have today. As a way to thank those that have served or are still serving, CEO Rollie Anderson hosted Veterans that now call ATS their career home for a special breakfast on November 6, 2018 — now an annual tradition.

Ron S. is a man who doesn’t like to gloat about being a Veteran, but he’s definitely proud of his eight years of service in the Army. That’s why he didn’t waste any time to add his military decal to his new ATS tractor, having it put on before transporting his first load.
The life of a Driver can be complicated. Long hours on the road, time away from friends and family and not knowing who to call for help. For ATS Specialized Driver Everett “Dawain” J., he knows he can count on fellow ATS Specialized Driver, Kevin B.
