[Video] ATS' Tarps Explained (General-Use Tarps vs. Drop Tarps)

ATS' open-deck specialized fleet uses general-use tarps to protect freight from the elements. These differ from the 6-, 8- and 10-foot drop tarps that many other companies use. That said, our 20-foot by 26-foot tarps can be applied in a variety of ways to cover freight of all sizes.

In this video, you'll learn more about general-use tarps, how they compare to drop tarps and how ATS drivers are trained in using their three general-use tarps and one smoke tarp (10 feet by 10 feet) to completely cover freight.
